Black bear and white-tailed deer hunting at Western Trophy Outfitter,  Saskatchewan, Canada

Saskatchewan (capital Regina) has the largest expanse of flat or gently rolling country in the four provinces that constitute Western Canada. Created by the amalgamation of three provisional districts in 1905, it became the ninth province admitted to the Confederation. The province’s name comes from the river of the same name, which means “swift flowing river” in the native Cree tongue. Bordered by Manitoba to the east and Alberta to the west, Saskatchewan is renowned for its huge deer and black bear populations which are so appealing to hunters in search of the biggest hunting trophies. The province of Saskatchewan, Canada, retains a world record for the largest white-tailed deer ever felled, by Milo Hanson in 1993.

Located in central Saskatchewan, Canada, north of the city of Prince Albert, our immense hunting territory is a favored habitat for white-tailed deer and black bears with valleys and streams situated on the edge of the Canadian boreal forest and bordered by agricultural land. Western Trophy Outfitters has more than two decades of experience, operating under the name of Clearsand Outfitters prior to 2010.

Built in the woods, two miles from a gravel road, our hunting camp is nestled well off the beaten path yet readily accessible by car or float plane, or by flying to Saskatoon where we will gladly meet you on Sunday, and take you back on the following Saturday.

Upon your arrival at our hunting camp in Canada, you will be welcomed among friends by our highly qualified staff, whose primary objective is to help make your hunting trip as successful as possible while paying attention to all the details that will go into making your stay with us an unforgettable adventure. Our land covers a vast 450 square kilometers (174 square miles) and the game found here is substantial and abundant.
